Director/ Writer/ Actor Quentin Tarantino has a very interesting backstory. Unlike most in Hollywood, who came out of the film school system, the Pulp Fiction director actually quit school in ninth grade and got his movie education working in a rental store. Tarantino worked in blockbuster videos and considered his experience working as his education for film making.
For years and years he watched film after film, all the while learning what makes the greatest titles what they are. But that's only the surface level of Tarantino's history. To go in depth you have to listen to the interview the filmmaker just did with Howard Stern.
