Jackman Reveals Bond Role Regrets

Aussie Actor Hugh Jackman recently revealed that he turned down role of James Bond in Casino Royale.  Regretted his decision deeply, especially after seeing his good chap Daniel Craig kill the part (And we mean 'Kill' in a good way).
The Wolverine actor joked that he'll be willing to wait for Craig to hang up his tuxedo in order to get the role himself.
The 44-year-old Aussie explained that he had turned down the opportunity to play 007 because he wanted to focus on X-Men movies.
He told The Sun: "At the time it was wrong for me but when I saw Daniel in the movie I thought I should have been more interested, because it was great.
"But I am great mates with Daniel and, you know, no-one could have played Bond better."
And Hugh, who is currently playing Valjean in the big-screen adaptation of Les Miserables, joked that he could still be in with a chance.
"I will just wait. The thing about Daniel is that he's, what, 62 now, isn't he? He's falling apart at the seams," he continued.
"So I just keep telling him, 'I'm ready, whenever you want to let him go'. The good thing is I also have a British passport."
