Bruce Lee Bio Pic

A biopic about martial art master Bruce Lee is officially in the works. The Hollywood Reporter shares the news that QED International is developing a big screen film called "Birth of the Dragon", which will focus on the origin story of the legendary martial artist.

While it hasn't found a director, the project has tapped Christopher Wilkinson and Stephen Rivele as the screenwriters. The two scribes will also serve as co-producers alongside Michael London and QED CEO Bill Block.

Of Wilkinson and Rivele's take on the Bruce Lee tale, producer London says, "Stephen Rivele and Chris Wilkinson have taken a little-known chapter in the life of Bruce Lee and used it as a jumping-off point for a bold, exciting story about the making of an international legend."

"Birth of the Dragon" itself will center on Lee's career-defining 1965 no-holds-barred TKO battle with kung fu master Wong Jack Man. Additionally, the film will focus on the team-up between the two legends to take on the Triads. The fight with Jack Man was the last official one of Lee's career before he headed into acting, competition and building his martial arts philosophy.

It is still unclear when the project is expected to kick off and who is the actor poised to tackle the coveted part of Lee.

Iron Man 3 Extended Trailer: Five Questions Raised

Last year, Disney promoted The Avengers during the Super Bowl, and The Avengers went on to rule the box office, becoming the highest grossing movie of 2012. While several movie studios decided to pass on a 2013 Super Bowl advertising buy, Disney wisely realized that that the Super Bowl is a great place to promote superheroes. We were hoping that the Iron Man 3 Super Bowl spot would answer a lot of questions, but it actually raised more questions. Here are our top five questions.

Check out the trailer as well....

5. Does The Bunny Survive The Mansion Attack? – The breakout star of the Iron Man 3 movie trailers has been a giant stuffed bunny. Just like in the previous trailer, the bunny is shown in the Malibu mansion when the missiles hit. Even though Tony Stark and Pepper Potts are sent flying through the air, the giant bunny seems unfazed. Will the giant bunny sink to the bottom of the ocean when the mansion collapses? Or will the giant bunny prove to be a hero as a possible flotation device for Pepper Potts?

Pepper Potts pregnant
4. Is Pepper Potts Preggers? – Speaking of the giant stuffed bunny, why is it there to begin with? One theory is that it was a present for Tony Stark who we know will be spending some time in the hospital in Iron Man 3. But what if it was a present for Pepper Potts? Could Pepper Potts be pregnant? What if Pepper Potts loses the baby as a result of injuries during the attack on the mansion? Wouldn’t that be enough to send Tony Stark spiraling into a deep depression?

Iron Man 3 The Mandarin's Rings
3. Are The Mandarin’s Rings Just For Show? – The Iron Man 3 Super Bowl trailer gives an up close and detailed view of The Mandarin’s ten rings. However, we still haven’t seen The Mandarin actually use his rings in any way. The way one sequence is cut together almost makes it looks like The Mandarin’s rings are causing an explosion, but the scenes are in two separate locations, so it’s likely just some sneaky editing by Marvel Studios. If the rings actually have power like in the comics is something we really want to know.

Iron Man 3 Happy Hogan Dead
2. Is Happy Hogan Dead? – Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige let it slip out that Jon Favreau’s character Happy Hogan plays a major role in Iron Man 3, but his scenes were all shot very early in the production. The Iron Man 3 trailer shows what appears to be a very badly injured Happy Hogan. Could it be that Happy Hogan is killed off in Iron Man 3?

1. How Large A Role Does Guy Pearce Play? – Guy Pearce is playing Aldrich Killian, who in the comics was a scientist who helped in the development of Extremis. Aldrich also gave Extremis to a terrorist organization. There have been conflicting rumors as to whether Guy Pearce plays a minor or a major role in Iron Man 3. We’ve seen very little of him in the Iron Man 3 trailers, but when we do see him, he sure looks menacing.
Iron Man 3 is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 3, 2013.

Jason Bateman on Howard Stern Show

Jason Bateman appeared in studio 69 ( Howard Stern Show) to promote his new film "Identity Thief" with Melissa McCarthy. Bateman talked about his career rolleroaster which hit an all time low after his ill-advised decision to do "Teen Wolf 2". Bateman said he spent years drinking himself into oblivion, until an agent suggested he audition for "Arrested Development" and everything changed.
